Helen PictonWales Heads of Trading Standards
After a short spell working in the Health Service, Helen embarked upon a career change twenty years ago when she entered Trading Standards. During this time she has worked for a number of Local Authorities.
For the last six years Helen has been the Wales Head of Trading Standards Lead Officer for Product Safety and Underage Sales giving her responsibility for co-ordinating all-Wales projects and has most recently overseen the Department of Health funded Tobacco Control projects across the 22 authorities.
In her 'spare time', Helen has just completed a three year college course and juggles the busy social lives of her 10 year old daughter and 5 year old son.
